First RA3 Certified Air Cargo Handler in EG
In 2024, Avomo Cargo became the newest RA3 Certified air cargo handling agent in Equatorial Guinea with a state-of-the-art RA3 scanner. RA3 stands for Regulated Agent for third countries. Further, we are the only General Sales & Service Agent (GSSA) for Ethiopian Airlines in EG.
As a security measure, the EU requires businesses involved in the supply chain and movement of cargo to meet strict criteria and regulations. The RA3 certification ensures that GSSAs follow specific security protocols to screen for High Risk Cargo and Mail (HRCM). Cargo that passes inspection is loaded onto planes for export. Avomo Cargo’s trained experts identify unsafe cargo, reject it, and report it, as well as prevent the tampering of cargo.
State-of-the-Art Technology
Along with obtaining an RA3 certification, Avomo Cargo purchased a state-of-the-art x-ray scanner, along with an explosives and narcotics trace detector.
These tools combined with the RA3 certification ensure Avomo Cargo can handle all shipments into the EU from EG while maintaining high safety and security standards.
